WIKA Mobile Control receives Supplier Excellence Award from Manitowoc

The Manitowoc Company, Inc. recently awarded WIKA Mobile Control, LP with the Supplier Excellence Award for outstanding quality, delivery, and cost control performance.  The award reflects over 35 years of hard work, dedication, and commitment to fostering a strong partnership with Manitowoc.

The Manitowoc Supplier Awarding Process

Based in Shady Grove, PA, Manitowoc is one of the world's largest providers of lifting equipment for the global construction industry, including boom trucks, lattice, rough terrain, truck mounted, and tower cranes.  Manitowoc introduced the Supplier Excellence Awards in 2021, expanding in 2023 to include the aftermarket organization in the selection process. Out of over 1,500 suppliers globally, Manitowoc has awarded 14 suppliers.

Selection criteria is based on measurable data points as well as the quality of the customer-supplier relationship. The review board evaluates the data, and a committee of employees votes on and proposes deserving suppliers. Final validation of the awards is done by Manitowoc's executive management team. This process ensures that the awards recognize suppliers who excel in both performance metrics and partnership quality.
