International WorkBoat Show: Exhibition Highlights
The International WorkBoat Show, held in New Orleans, LA, is a trade show for the maritime industry that brings together commercial vessel owners, operators, and builders. The event, which took place this November, drew over 1,000 exhibitors and 13,000 attendees to the show floor, showcasing the latest innovations in marine technology and equipment.
WIKA Mobile Control (WMC) presented several systems, sensors, and solutions designed for both OEM and retrofit applications. Among the products on display were the new APEX SAI stand-alone indicator for wireless sensors, the CTL-S700 safety controller, and the gSENS LWG120 cable reel.
The new APEX SAI stand-alone indicator is a flexible solution that allows for efficient monitoring of up to two anti-two block switches and a wind speed sensor, making it a valuable addition to any application. Additionally, the CTL-S700 safety controller is built for use in safety-critical applications and offers many interfaces and I/Os for machine control tasks. Along with a range of force and pressure sensors, the gSENS LWG120 length & angle sensor was showcased for its durability and precision as it can withstand the harshest environmental conditions.
