Key Components of the StabilityAssist Pro System
The StabilityAssist Pro system consists of two main components:
- 4.3” Color Graphic Console - The 4.3” color graphic console provides operators with a clear, graphical representation of the current maximum capacity utilization. It can be easily installed either inside or outside the operator's cab, ensuring that it’s within clear sight and easy reach during machine operation. The console displays a visual bar graph showing the machine’s stability percentage.
- Strain Gauge - The second component is the strain gauge, which measures the strain on the machine’s rear axle. The system uses the data from the strain gauge to display the machine’s current stability percentage on the graphic console.
How It Works: Warning Alerts and Stability Protection
The StabilityAssist Pro system actively monitors the machine’s utilization and stability, keeping the operator informed. Here’s how it functions:
- Green Zone (Within the Limit): When the machine’s stability is within the working limits, the bar graph remains green, indicating that the system is operating in a stable zone.
- Yellow Warning (Approaching Limit): As the utilization percentage increases, approaching the system's set threshold, the bar graph will change from green to yellow. At this stage, the system will trigger an audible alarm to alert the operator that the stability is nearing a critical level. This early warning gives the operator time to adjust their actions to avoid exceeding the operational limits.
- Red Warning (Critical Limit): If the utilization continues to rise and exceeds a second threshold, the bar graph will change from yellow to red, signaling that the machine’s stability is critically compromised. A continuous alarm will sound at this point, urging the operator to take immediate action to reduce the risk of instability or a potential accident.
The StabilityAssist Pro helps operators maintain control and avoid risky situations by providing stability protection data. This contributes to smoother operations, reduced downtime, and enhanced overall productivity.
